Witness real molten lava and learn all about Iceland's volcanoes, and how they have affected the town of Vík in this dramatic and unique show

Seaside town with church, cafes and fantastic views. Great options for lunch in this town. This stop will be shortened during the darkest winter months (Nov-Jan) with lunch had on the go to save precious daylight hours.

Guided walk (15-20 minutes each way) down the valley to get a view and photos of the enormous glacier and lagoon. Your guide will explain all about the changing glacier and landscape.

Waterfall that is possible to walk behind (when not icy).

- We will stop in the south coast town of Hvolsvöllur to load up on snacks for the day. You can shop here and bring food and for the day if you want to spend more time at the sights during lunch. There is ample time to have lunch at The Soup Company located within the Icelandic Lava Show premises. The soups are filling and delicious, as are the paninis and sandwiches here.
- During the darkest winter months we may need to to order food to have on the go, so that we can use the precious short daylight hours at the wonderful South Coast sights. Lunch is not included in this tour.
- Although there is no minimum age, some stops may need to be amended for those younger than 8 years old.
