We leave Vík and journey back west towards the capital, but not before two more essential South Coast hot-spots. First up is Skógafoss waterfall, a powerful natural wonder that leaves visitors awe-inspired. Cascading from a height of 60 meters and spanning a width of 25 meters, the powerful falls generate a constant mist, creating vibrant rainbows on sunny days.
